We do not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal details to use Download IG Story. To display stories, highlights, or profile pictures, you enter a public Instagram username; we use that input only to fetch the requested public content in real time and return it to your browser.

We do not store the @usernames you search, and we do not permanently host or store the Instagram media you view or download. Media is fetched on demand and proxied through our service, then delivered to you without being retained on our servers. Because there are no user accounts, we do not collect names, email addresses, passwords, or profile data unless you voluntarily email us for support.

Like most websites, we may automatically receive limited technical information sent by your browser, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and the time of your request.
